Dog Day Care & Boarding
Doggie day care: 1 dog $25/day, additional dog from same family $10/day
See below for the required vaccines.
DOG BOARDING:
One dog 50# and under $38 per day
One dog over 50# $40 per day
2 dogs in the same run $52 per day
3 dogs in the same run $62 per day
Dogs that have not been spayed or neutered may not share the same kennel run. For example, 2 non-neutered males, 2 non-spayed females, or a non-neutered male and a non-spayed female must be boarded separately.
Cat Boarding:
$25/day for one cat, an additional $10/day for each cat from the same family.
Call for Drop off and Pick up times.
CHECK-IN DAY is counted as the first day charged, regardless of drop-off time.
CHECK-OUT DAY
No charge if pet(s) are picked up:
9 am to 1 pm, Monday through Saturday
9 am to 11 am, Sundays and Holidays
An additional full-day boarding will be charged for pets picked up:
3 pm to 6 pm Monday through Saturday
4 pm to 6 pm Sundays and Holidays
KENNEL HOURS:
MONDAY - SATURDAY: 9AM TO 1PM; 3PM TO 6PM
SUNDAY AND HOLIDAYS: 9AM TO 11AM; 4PM TO 6PM
*NO DROP-OFFS OR PICK-UPS ON THANKSGIVING AND CHRISTMAS*
Requirements
HOLIDAYS: $40 per kennel deposit required for all holidays: THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, AND DEWITT SCHOOLS SPRING BREAK, Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day. This deposit will be applied to the cost of boarding. Cancellation must be 7 days prior to scheduled arrival date or forfeiture of deposit will result.
There is a minimum three-day stay over the above holiday boarding times.
REQUIRED VACCINATIONS: WRITTEN PROOF REQUIRED
CATS: Indoor cats must be current on RCP and Rabies
Outdoor and Indoor/Outdoor cats must be current on FVRCP and Rabies and have monthly flea and tick protection.
DOGS: Distemper, Leptospirosis, Rabies, Canine Influenza, and Bordetella must be current.
Bordetella is required every six months at Samarkand Kennels, not yearly. The preferred route of administration is oral or intra-nasal. This vaccine must be given at least three days before scheduled arrival at the kennel.
It is recommended that all other vaccines be given at least 7 to 10 days before boarding, as immunity is not immediate.
All dogs entering the facility for grooming must have the same vaccinations as boarding and daycare dogs.
ADDITIONAL FEES MAY BE CHARGED FOR SPECIAL NEEDS OR AFTER-HOURS CARE.
